Days of the Month — November 2026

National American Indian Heritage Month

The month of November is dedicated to Native American Indian Heritage Month. During this time of the year, we like to embrace rich and diverse cultures, traditions and acknowledge the important contributions Native Peoples provided for this country (NCAI, 2021).

Please take a moment to read more information on the National Congress of American, which provides us with ways to raise awareness as well as opportunities to educate the general public on tribes in this country. WeAreTeachers.com has free resources available.
