Promote universal respect and support for diversity in all its manifestations. Early Childhood Education is the perfect place to plant seeds of appreciation and respect for all children, and Anti-Bias approach to education.

The United States must come out of isolation to join in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and must take a more active part in supporting children’s rights everywhere. P.E.A.C.E works with its allies to that end.

P.E.A.C.E. supports developmentally appropriate learning opportunities so that children can reach their full potential and become critical and creative thinkers. We oppose developmentally inappropriate assessment, practices and standards in our nations’ classroom. A child’s right to play, which is crucial to the development of higher learning capabilities and creativity, must be honored.

Protect Young Children from Marketing Abuses

P.E.A.C.E. works closely with its allies to eliminate the exploitation of young children’s vulnerabilities by commercial interests for financial gain. We are especially concerned with the marketing of violence to children through video games, toys and other products.
