A Song to Share — Lulilu

Lulilu is a song inspired by Francesco Malavolta’s picture of baby strollers on the train platform in Poland, left for arriving refugees.

February 2024 we celebrate Black History/African Heritage Month, as well as Lunar New Year, Mardi Gras, Valentine’s Day, and Nirvana Day.

I have the nerve to walk my own way, however hard, in my search for reality, rather than climb upon the rattling wagon of wishful illusions.

We need federal money for child care. The First Five Years Fund has a great webpage where you can contact your Senators and Representatives.

Our meeting in Nashville had a good attendance, both in person and virtually. We were happy to see everyone, present projects and awards.

The 2023 P.E.A.C.E. awards were presented to Dr. Barbara Cooper and Angela Davis at the NAEYC annual conference in November 2023.

The Children’s Book Club met on December 2nd and discussed When the Fog Rolls In and The Cardboard Kingdom.
