Remembering Our Beloved Rev. James M. Lawson, Jr.
Rev. James M. Lawson, Jr. passed away recently on June 9th, at the age of 95. He was known for his activism in non-violence and social change. Marian Edelman Wright, founder of Children’s Defense Fund and activist for civil and children’s rights, wrote an in-depth article in memory of her dear beloved friend and mentor Rev. James Lawson.
