Book Recommendations — January 2025

This month’s book recommendations are the Most Magnificent series by Ashley Spires, which encourage girls in STEM

We have revised last month’s resolution: We, in P.E.A.C.E., value all life. Therefore, war is a tragedy for all, especially the children.

This month’s action alerts urge people to contact Senators and Representatives about childcare legislation and the Indian Boarding Schools act

Please join our children’s book club on December 14th with children’s books on the themes of different kinds of families and celebrations

P.E.A.C.E. and the N.A.E.Y.C. Peace Educators Interest Forum, held a joint meeting at the N.A.E.Y.C. Conference in Anaheim, CA, on 11/8.

The 2024 PEACE award winners are Carole Welp, Pat Landry, and Monica Moran for their efforts in education for all.
