Peace Pole Project

Golden Valley Charter School, a local public Waldorf school in Orangevale, California, was honored to receive funding through the PEACE Project Grants to bring a Peace Pole to its school community. Unveiled during the school’s Rose Ceremony, the Peace Pole now stands as a lasting symbol of unity, inclusion, kindness, compassion, respect, love, and belonging. It serves as a meaningful reminder to students, staff, families, and visitors that each of us plays an important role in creating a peaceful, welcoming, and caring community.
